Linking an account with dimensions

When linking an account to dimensions, the purpose is that when used linked account, filling in the linked dimension is mandatory (NB! automatic filling does not take place).

You can set the linking of accounts by selecting Settings -> Registers -> Account plan.

In the account plan, you find the account to which you want to link the mandatory dimension. Once you've found the account, select Actions -> Bind dimensions.

Then the following view opens (the names of the dimensions come according to the dimension register you imported).

Here you can mark the dimensions you want to make mandatory for selected account.

Example: We linked the account Kontod2 to the dimension called Projekt. When we selected the account Kontod2 and tried to save the account without adding dimension, a following error message appeared.

Linking dimensions

The purpose of dimension binding is to display of the other dimension(s) automatically when one dimension is selected. There are three options for linking dimensions: linking dimensions to each other; master dimension binding master dimension binding to fixator.

1. Linking dimensions together. Dimensions can be linked by selecting Settings -> Registers -> Dimensions. Then select the desired dimension and Actions -> Link Dimensions.

NB! When linking dimensions, remember that dimension codes with the same name can be used once for one dimension. Example: If there are dimensions named Project in the register, if one of the Projects is linked to another dimension, for example the Department dimension, the other dimensions cannot be linked to the Department anymore (they can be linked to another dimension).

3. Linking the main dimension to the dimensions. To do this, you must first set the main dimension via Actions -> Edit and add ''Main dimension'' birdy (when selecting one dimension, the main dimension applies to all dimensions with the same name).

Then proceed in the same way as in the previous point. The difference between setting a master dimension and dimension binding is that master dimensions can be bound to other dimensions multiple times.

4. Linking the main dimension to the confirmer. A confirmer can be associated with the main dimension. This means that an confirmer participating in the confirmation round can be automatically selected for the used dimension.

You can set this by choosing Actions -> Link Dimensions after the main dimension is set and then add user to Connected confirmer: cell.

Register of services and goods

The purpose of linking the register of services and goods is to create automatic data when adding the name of invoice lines manually.

To link services and goods registers, you must first define the main dimension (only the predefined register can be linked to it). You can find instructions for determining the main dimension in point 2 of the previous chapter.

Then select Settings -> Registers -> Services and goods register. In the registry, click on the code of the desired service/product and the following view will open:

Fill in the desired cells as shown in the figure(only the code and name are mandatory, the rest is as desired).

When opening a purchase invoice and adding grouped rows, when entering the name of the service/product, following view will appear (info from goods and services registers has appeared in the row):
