A purchase receipt is the basis for any cost report. This manual will give you a brief overview of different possibilities when adding a receipt.

There are two ways how you can start adding a receipt to a cost report with the mobile application:

  1. From the ''Home'' tab, you can use a shortcut "Save receipt":

  2. Or you can open up the ''Receipts'' tab and select between "Add from gallery" or "Take a photo":

After you have chosen one of those two options to continue, then you will have to either choose a picture from your device's gallery or take a photo with the camera application. In both cases the application needs to have access to your phone's camera functionality or gallery.

Please keep in mind that all the data from the receipt has to be clearly visible, the photo has to be taken in good lighting and on a smooth surface. There's always a possibility to retake the photo if needed:

Next, you can choose between Finbite digitizing service or entering the information manually on your own:

  1. If you choose ''Finbite digitizing'', the receipt will appear on your receipts list with the status being "Processing". This means that it will be digitized by Finbite within a working day or sooner. Once the receipt is digitized, you will get a notificiation about it and the status will change to "Pending". This means that it's ready to be added to a cost report. NB! Make sure the image of the receipt has good quality and is readable, otherwise the receipt is not suitable for digitizing and will be rejected.

  2. If you choose to ''Enter manually'', you'll have to fill in all the mandatory fields, and also optional, if required by your company. After submitting the receipt, it will appear in the receipts list with a "Pending" status. This means that it's ready to be added to a cost report.
