Dimensions can be added individually or by importing from accounting software. If you are importing dimensions from accounting software, be sure to review the settings to see the conditions (either parse or replace all).

If you want to add a dimension manually, do the following.

Select Settings -> Registers -> Dimensions. Then select Add new and the following window will open for you to add:

Perform the necessary actions and click Save.
